Ethiopian premier arrives in Khartoum

Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi arrived in Khartoum on Friday for a one-day visit to Sudan for talks with Sudanese President Omar Al Bashir , SUNA reported and give no other details . The Ethiopian Premier is scheduled to visit Egypt later this evening for talks with the Egyptian officials focussing on bolstering bilateral relations and Al-Nahda Dam Ethiopia intends to build on one of the River Nile''s tributaries. Earlier Thursday, Egypt And Ethiopia agreed to hold a meeting for the tripartite technical committee which also comprises Sudan to evaluate the impacts of the Al Nahda Dam and would set the date later on after reviewing the proposed conditions on part of Addis Ababa on the nature of the said committee . This came in a joint press conference Egyptian Irrigation Minister Hisham Qandil and his Ethiopian counterpart Maheu Tegno held in the Egyptian capital , Cairo , earlier Thursday night.
