A fire ravaged 16 homes in a densely-populated area in Banjarmasin, capital of South Kalimantan province. The fire which broke out left the houses leveled to the ground, Indonesia's (Antara) news agency reported. Panic-stricken residents tried to save their belongings as the fire was ravaging the homes made of wood. The cause of the fire is still unknown. "Right now we are still processing information in the scene to establish the cause of the fire. We are still handling the case until we get directives from our superior," spokesman of the North Banjarmasin police 2nd Insp M Rusdi said.
