Five dead after Moscow office shooting

A 29-year-old man shot dead at least five co-workers in a Moscow office and seriously wounded two others, dpa quoted authorities as saying Wednesday. The man stormed into the office and opened fire with two hunting rifles. One victim told police the attacker may have been motivated by female-related personal sentiments. A woman, probably his main target, was fatally shot in the chest, the RIA Novosti news agency reported. Three men and another young woman died in the shooting spree. One injured 29-year-old victim was in a coma in hospital. Before the massacre took place, the gunman posted a "manifesto" on the internet in which he described mankind as "genetic waste." He surrendered to police without resistance.
