Floods kill 35 people in Sudan

Heavy rain and floods have killed 35 people and injured 132 others, destroying thousands of homes around Sudan, Sudanese Civil Defense official said on Sunday. Preliminary estimate puts the number of completely destroyed houses to 4,722, while around 1,317 houses were partially destroyed in addition to other facilities like shops, including animals escaping the affected areas, according to the statement.
