KFSD rescues crew of capsized Iranian boat

Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) said Saturday its personnel managed to rescue the crew members of an Iranian boat that capsized near the Kuwaiti islands of Failaka and Meskan. The accident took place last night due to rough waves, according to a KFSD statement. Land and marine rescue teams from Failaka and Al-Salmiya rushed to the scene upon receiving notification of calls for help from the boat, which was carrying fodder sacks. The teams faced difficulty in the rescue operation because the sea was at a low ebb.
