A German man who had his grandmother shovel his sidewalk was cleared of charges after a woman slipped and fell on the ice outside of his home. The 32-year-old man made an appearance Monday in an Augsburg courtroom on a charge of causing actual bodily harm through negligence after a 44-year-old woman slipped and fell on the ice outside of his home, The Local.de reported Tuesday. The man, who told authorities his grandmother had been left in charge of shoveling the snow that morning, was acquitted of the charge. The woman who slipped and fell is also suing the man for compensation.
