A man threw two smoke bombs in front of the official entrance of the Bulgarian Parliament here on Friday, during the plenary session. The Parliament's security guards have immediately arrested the offender, who aged between 35 and 40. Hristo Kraevski, head of the Parliament's press office told reporters. According to Kraevski, the attacker acted alone. Also on Friday, the Ministry of Interior said that a suitcase and a box containing some seven kg pressings labeled "trotyl" were found in Sofia Thursday. Penko Atanasov, an opposition member of the Parliament belonging to the Group of Coalition for Bulgaria, told reporters on Friday that he found the TNT on Thursday morning about 30 meters from the apartment block, which is owned by the parliament, and where legislators live. Bulgaria's parliament elections will be held for president and local authorities on 23 October.
