
Three policemen were killed today in the western Indian state of Maharashtra during a patrol in the countryside, as reported the web-version of DNA India newspaper. The incident occurred in the Gadchiroli district near the village of Shevargaon on the border of the states Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh. A minibus with police officers was blown up by an explosive device planted by Maoist militants.
