Mexican authorities have captured a suspected leader of one of the country's largest organized crime groups, dpa quoted officials as saying late Wednesday. Ivan Velazquez Caballero, konwn as El Taliban, was thought to be in charge of the Los Zetas group, based in the central state of San Luis Potosi, said officials of the navy, which arrested him. A spate of violence has broken out in the area amid suspected clashes between rival factions in the group. Velazquez Caballero, also known as Z-50 and L-50, featured on the country's most-wanted list, and had a bounty of 30 million pesos (2.3 million dollars) on his head.
