The mine is located in Buritica, Antioquia, said Cesar Hernandez, the director of Antioquia's agency for disaster relief. "It is said that more than 20 people are trapped. We are already undertaking rescue operations in the ground," said the official. According to him, two miners escaped the collapse with minor injuries and were treated at a local hospital in Buritica. Red Cross workers and local rescue crew were working to reach the miners. No other details are available for the time being.
