Ex-Bosnian Serb army head Ratko Mladic has undergone hernia surgery and feels fine, his lawyer says. Milos Saljic said Mladic, who is on trial at The Hague war crimes tribunal for atrocities committed during the 1992-95 Bosnian war, had the surgery on Wednesday. "He called me today to say he feels fine," Saljic said. Laywers for the former general have previously described his health as "very poor." Mladic has been indicted for genocide, including the massacre of several thousand Muslim men at Srebrenica in 1995.
