A policeman was killed and three other people were wounded on Sunday after the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) rebels attacked a town in southern Colombia.
The policeman was killed when the rebels attacked a group of policemen who were in a local festivity at the main square at Solita town in the southern Caqueta department, authorities said.
"Unfortunately a policeman was killed and three others were seriously wounded," said Merly Sarria Pena, mayor of the town.
A reward of around 19,200 U.S. dollars is offered to anyone who provides information leading to the capture of the attackers.
The FARC has claimed responsibility for its terrorist actions during the last months, and the main targets were the government forces, as well as oil and electricity infrastructure.
