An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale rocked Simeulue district in Indonesia's western-most province of Aceh on Thursday, according to the local meteorology, climatology and geophysics station. The epicenter of the quake which struck at 09.24 a.m. local time was in the sea 637 km southwest of Simeulue at a depth of 18 km, ANTARA quoted head of the station's data and information service section Hendra Suwarta as saying. Based on the result of monitoring the temblor did not cause a tsunami, he said
