A rescue service helicopter has crashed at Slovensky Raj National Park in Eastern Slovakia, with four people dead as a result, confirmed spokesperson of the Slovak Health Ministry Zuzana Cizmarikova on Friday.
According to the report by local news agency TASR, the machine fell into a ravine.
"Several rescue helicopters have been despatched to a field near Hrabusice village, with the aircraft wing of the Slovak Interior Ministry being summoned to help clear the debris," announced press department director of the Slovak Interior Ministry Ivan Netik.
The downed helicopter allegedly became caught up in power lines and fell into water, according to tvnoviny.sk internet website, which broke the news.
