Retiree sets office fire, kills 3 in China

A retired women threw gasoline into an office and started a fire that killed three people and injured three in China's Hunan province Monday, officials said. Officials said the woman, Shi Yanfei, burst into a meeting of leaders of a company and jumped out a window after starting the fire, the Xinhua News Agency reported. Shi was taken to a hospital along with the three people injured in the fire. Officials said they think Shi, who took early retirement, may have been motivated by dissatisfaction with a position given to one of her children, also employed by the company.
