
A passenger bus that overturned on Indus Highway in southern Pakistan killed at least 12 people and wounded over 27 others early Monday. According to police reports, the incident took place near Bhan Saeedabad on Indus Highway, killing 12 people including children and women. The bus was heading towards Karachi city from Shahdadkot area but it overturned on the highway. Police and rescue teams reached the scene immediately after the accident, transporting the dead and injured to a nearby hospital for treatment and medical legal formalities. The death toll is feared to rise, as ten of the injured people were in critical condition, said hospital officials.
