Rescue workers continued their search inside the sunken ferry during the low tide on Friday, focusing their work on cabins to find the 31 people still missing after 24 days since the incident. The government emergency response team said divers would re-enter the submerged vessel three times during the day when currents are the weakest as well as at any time weather conditions improve. The confirmed death toll as of Friday was 273, after four more bodies were retrieved the day before from fourth and fifth floors of the ship. The rescue team said it will revisit the 64 compartments divers had checked, while also searching 47 common areas, including snack bar, toilets and main lobby. Divers also plan to expand the search to the cargo compartments.
