The search for a child missing on Cape Ann in Massachusetts will involve a group promoting awareness of missing children cases, its organizer said. Mission for the Missing, a Boston-area non-profit organization, will assist in the search for 2 1/2-year-old Caleigh Harrison, who disappeared Apr. 19 while walking with her mother, Allison Hammond, and her then-4-year-old sister on Long Beach in Rockport, Mass., volunteer Maureen Flatley said. A tattered pair of pink pants, similar to those worn by Caleigh on the day of her disappearance, was found tangled in lobster-catching gear on the shore of nearby Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester Friday, the (Gloucester, Mass.) Times reported Tuesday. Flatley said a search of the beach Wednesday morning, which will coincide with high tide, will be conducted with the involvement of her group, law enforcement officials, dog teams and a state forensic anthropologist. Rockport Police Chief John McCarthy said the found pants are "very, very similar" to those Caleigh wore, and will undergo DNA testing.
