
At least three policemen were killed and three others wounded when a suicide bomber targeted them near vegetable market in southern Karachi city of Pakistan on Thursday, said officials. According to a senior police official DSP Nasir Lodhi, three policemen were killed and three others sustained serious injuries in a suicide attack near a police official Inspector Shafiq Tanoli's house in Karachi. Another senior police official, SSP East said that initial clues depict that it was a suicide blast and the attacker was 15-16 years old. "The blast killed Tanoli and two others," he confirmed. He told that Tanoli, who survived several attempts on his life in the past, was targeted for his active campaigning against militants
