
A tornado that hit an oil field near Watford City, North Dakota injured 9 people Monday evening. The McKenzie County Sheriff's Office said the twister caused eight people to sustain minor injuries and one to be transported to Trinity Hospital in Minot for medical care. Fifteen trailers that housed workers at the oil field were also damaged five miles south of Watford City as the tornado moved over the Midwest. Authorities have warned residents that extreme wether conditions may appear again on Tuesday.
