Turkish President, Abdullah Gul is due to leave Ankara for Moscow on Thursday for a short visit to partake in the world political forum opening in the city of “Yaroslavl”, which lies 250 km northeast of the capital Moscow. The forum being held per year under Russian President Dmitry Medvedev , will be also attended by German chancellor angela Merkel and former Latvian president Valdis Zatlers . President Gul will hold talks on the sidelines of the forum with each of his russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev and Merkel to discuss a wide ranging topics including iran’s nuclear programme, the middle east latest developments and the Nagorno-Karabakh issue . Nagorno-Karabakh is a landlocked region in the South Caucasus, lying between Lower Karabakh and Zangezur and covering the southeastern range of the Lesser Caucasus mountains.
