UAE mobile clinic has provided medical and health services to approximately 750 patients in the camp of "hamar Jab Jab" for displaced Somalis on the second day of its inauguration in the capital, Mogadishu. The clinic has seen a high demand of patients who are facing many health problems as a result of acute malnutrition and the spread of some diseases. UAE mobile clinic contributes through the departments of gynecology and internal medicine to provide the best medical services for the displaced to detect all cases that are suffering from physical and mental conditions. The health authorities and the Somali people have lauded UAE for running mobile clinic between the camps of displaced people. Gynecology Specialist and a member of the medical team Dr. Fatima Hassan Siyad said that most of the women brought to hospital on the second day were suffering from severe "Anemia" and diseases of the bladder and urinary tract infections as well as respiratory diseases while most of the children are suffering from malnutrition, fever and diarrhea. Moreover, she praised the role of the UAE humanitarian relief team efforts in unifying a number of Somali doctors and medical staff under the umbrella of the UAE and in the framework of a human volunteer to meet the call of duty to the victims of this tragic disaster. Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Head of the UAE relief team of drought victims in Somalia said that such initiatives reflect the vision of the wise leadership of the country in protecting human dignity and alleviating of disasters and crises, stressing that the team is moving now on the Somali arena and in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership and the follow-up of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler''s Representative in the Western Region, Chairman of the Red Crescent Authority (RCA).
