
At least two people were killed in separate incidents of violence in the southern Pakistani city of Karachi while eleven suspected individuals were arrested by the security forces on Friday, said police.According to police, a driver was shot dead when unknown men opened fire at the Yousuf Goth bus terminal in Baldia Town area. Bus passengers staged a protest over the killing of the driver and blocked the Hub River Road for many hours. In another incident, a man was killed due to a shooting in Karachis Orangi Town.Meanwhile, the paramilitary personnel carried an operation in Gulshan-i-Ghazi area of Baldia Town by sealing its entry and exit points and arresting eleven suspects. The paramilitary Rangers claimed that three out of the detained suspects were involved in extortion and kidnapping activities. The spokesman for Rangers of Sindh province said that 27 different kinds of weapons were recovered from the suspects during the raid.
