Voting ends in Liberia's disputed presidential run-off poll

Polling stations closed in Liberia after a presidential run-off poll marked by low turnout a day after an opposition rally turned violent when police opened fire into a crowd of protesters. "There was no incident report from the various polling places and all the polling places have already closed at 6pm (1800 GMT)," said NEC spokesman Jospeh Yassiah, who added he could not yet comment on voter turnout.
