A New Jersey woman who allegedly gave a young man a fatal shot of silicone to enhance his sexual organ pleaded not guilty Tuesday to manslaughter. Kasia Rivera, 35, of East Orange made a brief appearance in court in Newark, The Star-Ledger of Newark reported. She was arrested in December and indicted last month on a charge of reckless manslaughter. Her alleged victim, Justin Street, 22, of East Orange died in May 2011. Investigators say Rivera, who did not have any medical training, gave Street a silicone injection into a vein, giving him a silicone embolism. "The state is not alleging at all that she purposely caused his death, but that her behavior, her acting with no training, no preparation led to his death." Essex County Prosecutor William Neafsey said. "Performing this type of procedure, basically a surgical procedure on him without any proper training or certificates, that's why it's reckless."
