William Gallas had to settle for a point on his A-League debut as Perth Glory were held to a 1-1 draw by Adelaide United. Osama Malik had given United the lead in the 53rd minute and nine minutes later Gallas came off the bench for his first taste of football Down Under. Fellow substitute Chris Harrold grabbed an equaliser for Glory with 21 minutes remaining but they could not go on and get a winner. In the day's other game, Western Sydney Wanderers went top of the league courtesy of a 1-0 win over Melbourne Victory with Mark Bridge grabbing the only goal eight minutes from time. Source: FIFA.com
