Federer in Swiss Davis Cup team

Roger Federer will return to the Swiss lineup for this weekend's World Group playoff tie against the Netherlands. There had been some doubts over whether the world No.1 would play following his US Open quarter-final loss to Tomas Berdych, but the Swiss Tennis Federation confirmed on Wednesday that he would line up alongside Stanislas Wawrinka. The Dutch will host the tie in Amsterdam and will be led by Robin Haase and Thiemo de Bakker.
