Torii Hunter drove in the other run for Los Angeles, which took the rubber match of a three-game series. Dan Haren (11-11) notched the win, yielding three runs (two earned) on five hits through 5 2/3 innings. Four Angels relievers combined for 2 1/3 shutout innings and Kevin Jepsen earned his second save. Will Smith (5-8) absorbed the loss, surrendering four runs on seven hits over five frames. Tony Abreu socked a solo homer for the Royals.
