Samir Nasri is back in the France squad after a ten-month absence for their upcoming friendlies against Uruguay and Brazil in South America. The Manchester City midfielder has not played for Les Bleus since UEFA EURO 2012, when he fell foul of the French Football Federation following an expletive-laden outburst at journalists. That earned him a three-match ban by the FFF and subsequent snub by national coach Didier Deschamps, but Nasri has now been given another chance at international level. Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala has also received his first senior call-up but midfielder Franck Ribery has been left out as a result of Bayern Munich's appearance in the UEFA Champions League final on 25 May. France will play Uruguay in Montevideo on 5 June before taking on Brazil in Porto Alegre four days later. France squad: Mickael Landreau (Bastia), Hugo Lloris (Tottenham), Steve Mandanda (Marseille); Gael Clichy (Manchester City), Mathieu Debuchy (Newcastle), Laurent Koscielny (Arsenal), Mamadou Sakho (Paris St Germain), Eliaquim Mangala (Porto), Jeremie Mathieu (Valencia), Bacary Sagna (Arsenal), Adil Rami (Valencia); Yohan Cabaye (Newcastle), Blaise Matuidi (Paris St Germain), Mathieu Valbuena (Marseille), Samir Nasri (Manchester City), Josuha Guilavogui (St Etienne), Yoann Gourcuff (Lyon), Etienne Capoue (Toulouse); Karim Benzema (Real Madrid), Olivier Giroud (Arsenal), Bafetimbi Gomis (Lyon), Jeremy Menez (Paris St Germain), Dimitri Payet (Lille) Source: fifa.com
