Postponed Brooklyn opener set for Nov. 26

The Brooklyn Nets announced Thursday their postponed meeting with New York would be played Monday, Nov. 26. Brooklyn and New York were to have opened their season on Thursday in what was to have been the first regular-season game played in the Barclays Center. The Nets moved to Brooklyn from New Jersey for the 2012-13 season and now will begin their inaugural campaign Saturday against Toronto. Thursday's game had to be postponed following the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy. New York will begin its season Friday at home against the Miami Heat.
