
Uganda football team beat Congo Brazzaville 1-0 in Kampala to move top of Group E of the 2018 World Cup qualifier, that also gathers Egypt and Ghana.
A goal from Uganda's forward Farouk Miya in the 18th minute was enough to give the Cranes a vital victory which temporarily takes them to the top of the group on four points.
The result left Congo Brazzaville at the bottom of the table with zero points.
Egypt came second with three points and Ghana came third with one point, waiting for Sunday clash at Alexandria's Borg el Arab Stadium.
