Suwon Bluewings moved two points clear at the top of the K-League standings today with a 2-0 home win over Pohang Steelers. Dzenan Radoncic opened the scoring in the 17th minute and Lee Yong-Rae put the result beyond doubt with a second goal eight minutes from time. The Bluewings climbed above Jeju United, who were held to a goalless home draw by fourth-placed Ulsan Hyundai. Third-placed FC Seoul - level on points with Jeju and Ulsan Hyundai - could only manage a 0-0 draw at Busan I'park. Eninho's strike 19 minutes from time proved decisive as Jeonbuk Motors scraped a 1-0 triumph at Gangwon FC to climb to fifth. Daejeon Citizen picked up their first points of the season after six straight defeats with a 2-1 victory at Sangju Sangmu Phoenix. First-half goals from Kim Chang-hoon and Yuta Baba set the bottom side on their way, with Ryu Chang-Hyun getting a consolation for the hosts after the interval. Elsewhere, Gyeongnam edged an entertaining encounter 3-2 at Daegu FC. Wilmar Gil set the visitors on their way after 36 minutes and, although Ho-Jung Choi looked to have ensured the teams would go in at the break level when he equalised seven minutes later, Ki-Hee Kim's own goal on the stroke of half-time put Gyeongnam back in front. Caique stretched the lead with an 84th-minute penalty, with Je Heon Song's 90th-minute spot-kick coming too late to prevent the away team taking all three points. Finally, Seon Kim equalised six minutes before half-time to secure a 1-1 draw for Gwangju FC at second-bottom Incheon United after Jong-Hwan Choi had put the home team ahead, and Vladimir Jovancic's 53rd-minute goal earned Seongnam Chunma a 1-0 win at Chunnam Dragons.
