The Abu Dhabi Harlequins Rugby Club, in partnership with international legal practice Norton Rose Group, will hold the first touch rugby competition for corporate teams on March 24. The Harlequins Norton Rose "City Sixes" is a one-day touch rugby competition pitting Abu Dhabi's brightest and best companies against each other at the Zayed Sports City from 11am onwards. The "City Sixes" will build on a grand old London tradition of corporate sevens rugby days which have always been hotly contested. Bitter commercial rivalries play out on the green fields, but this time there are no scrums, line-outs or tackling. A one-handed touch is all that is allowed, according to a press release from the organisers. "We're very excited to be holding this tournament. Touch rugby is the perfect way to get fit," said Harlequins chairman Andy Cole. From gulfnews
