Shortly after Major League Baseball approved the sale of the Los Angeles Dodgers for $2 billion to an ownership group that includes Lakers legend Magic Johnson, Jose Canseco tweeted his congratulations. And offered his services on the field: The 1986 AL Rookie of the Year and six-time All-Star hasn't been in the majors since 2001 but was on the brink of making a return to pro baseball this season in Mexico with Triple-A affiliate of MLB in February of this year. However, after acknowledging that he took a banned substance, Mexican Baseball League officials put a stop to Canseco's return. Canseco, 47, has filled his recent days promoting reality television and trying to fight Shaquille O'Neal.
