Paris St Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has called for calm despite his frustration at yesterday's draw with Bordeaux. PSG needed Guillaume Hoarau's late goal to salvage a point at the Parc Des Princes after Cheick Diabate's opener, but are still separated from Ligue 1 leaders Montpellier only by goal difference. Ancelotti told L'Equipe: "We have to stay calm, we have the same points total as Montpellier, the situation is the same. We have to work hard and show more discipline on the pitch. That is the most important thing and we have sometimes fallen short. We have to play the best we can in the nine remaining games." Reflecting on yesterday's game, the former Chelsea and AC Milan boss added: "The result was fair, because we had plenty of opportunities to score and so did Bordeaux. But we also had some problems, especially in wide areas. I am not happy because we need to be winning games. "It's not an easy period at the moment. Like in our last game, we had a good reaction but not a good action. We took took long to get into the match and take control of the ball. We again waited until the second half to put pressure on, and we made too many defensive errors." Opposite number Francis Gillot was pleased with his side's effort and believes European football remains a realistic ambition if his side can improve their home form. "Why not, if we show this same team spirit?" said Gillot, whose side lie eighth in the table. "The result was deserved but we could have won here after scoring first. We played well all across the pitch, we were dangerous. We are more at ease away from home, now we have to back that up at home."
