A three- member inquiry panel will probe the petition submitted by 58 athletes and coaches against Malaysian Athletic Union (MAU) Deputy President Karim Ibrahim at a preliminary meeting on Monday. The Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) had on March 5 announced the setting up of an independent board of inquiry comprising former Court of Appeal Judge Datuk Vadaketh Chako George and two private firm lawyers - William Davidson and Vinayak Pradhan - to probe the petition filed by the athletes namely on Feb 13. The OCM President Tan Sri Tunku Imran Tuanku Ja'afar said besides the three members, the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) medical committee Chairman Datuk Dr. Gurucharan Singh would also be present at the meeting to give details about medicine information.
