
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will participate tomorrow in the celebrations of International Day of Forests and Trees which falls on March, 21, 2014. Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Mohammed, President of Saudi Wildlife Commission commended in a press statement the government under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier for the preservation of the environment and plant and animal biodiversity, particularly with regard to forests and trees through the issuance of a royal decree in 1423AH to exempt imported wood and coal from customs duties.
