Head of Iran’s Nuclear Energy Organization Fereydoun Abbasi said no nuclear activities have been carried out in Parchin so far. Talking to IRNA on Wednesday after a cabinet session, he said all Iranian nuclear sites are open to inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) only two hours after they request. He said this is a regular and routine procedure which is done everyday. He stressed that the IAEA experts are free to carry out inspections in all Iranian nuclear sites any time they wish. However, he added, his organization is duty bound to show only sites which are under the IAEA supervision. Commenting on the two sessions of talks held between the Iranian officials and the IAEA inspectors during their latest visit to Iran, Abbasi said the talks were good and will continue in future as well. He further criticized the western media propaganda against Iran's peaceful nuclear program.
