Raising a daughter has inspired in Bill Lockard a deep appreciation on the importance of self-esteem, honor and perseverance. In “Circles in Circles” (published by Xlibris), he weaves a tale of love and adventure that is meant to instill these values into young adult readers.
This book tells a warm and captivating story about teenagers seeking their way in life with each other and the adult world. Looking deeply into personal feelings, it relates the lives of two maturing teenagers, Becky and Kyle who draw on their inner strength to experience success in adventure and love as they go out in search for answers in a complex world. During this search they enter the space and time of extraterrestrials to assist in resolving the problems of Earth.
“Writing fiction is about letting your mind flow, while building a picture of greatness in characters,” says Lockard. His book, “Circles in Circles,” looks into the continuing struggle of young people to withstand temptations from society while being able to cross hurdles in life with success in hopes of uplifting readers with strong character building that should help them understand the value of increasing self-confidence and self esteem.
