
Chief Executive of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) Osama Abdullah Al Absi discussed recently with an official Indonesian delegation a draft agreement on comprehensive cooperation between LMRA and the National Board for the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Overseas Workers in the labour field. He also discussed with the delegation issues pertaining to the Indonesian labour force in Bahrain and raising awareness of the labour market regulations as well as workers' rights and duties.
The LMRA Chief Executive presented a detailed account on the authority's work and goals as well as the procedures followed in issuing new licences. He highlighted the goals of the labour market reform project and the authority's achievements since its inception.
