
A high-level German economic delegation, under former German transport minister Peter Ramzawr, is currently visiting Egypt for five days.
The delegation discussed with 40 representatives of the Egyptian companies means of promoting joint economic cooperation.
It will visit Alexandria and Ismalia governorates to meet with the members of the businessmen associations and officials, according to a statement issued by the German Embassy in Cairo.
The visit is organized by the German-Arab Chamber Of Commerce in cooperation with the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce.
Economic relations between Cairo and Berlin are flourishing, the statement read, adding that the trade exchange between the two countries reached 4.4 billion euros in 2014.
German exports to Egypt hit 2.8 billion euros, while the Egyptian exports to Germany mounted to 1.6 billion euros,
