President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to South Korea was a turning point in the relations between the two countries, Seoul's deputy ambassador in Cairo said on Monday.
The visit was successful by all accounts, the diplomat added during his visit to the headquarters of the Middle East News Agency (MENA) in Cairo.
He stressed his country's readiness to transfer the Korean experience to Egypt.
Egypt has a promising future and will progress at all economic and social levels, he said.
For his part, MENA Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Alaa Haidar welcomed the diplomat's visit.
Haidar added that the meeting tackled President Sisi's recent visit to Seoul and the reasons behind South Korea's progress.
He added that one factor behind South Korea's success was the support of the people for the government.
Sisi paid a visit to South Korea earlier this month, the first by an Egyptian president in 17 years.
The visit was part of an Asian tour that took the Egyptian leader to Kazakhstan and Japan.
