
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) and its Group of Companies are actively participating in the 26th Edition of Gastech Conference ‘&’ Exhibition 2012, launched in London. Edward Davey, UK Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, inaugurated the event in the presence of Abdulrahman Ghanem Al Mutaiwee, the UAE Ambassador to the UK, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, First Secretary in the UAE Embassy in the UK, Mohammed A Sahoo Al Suwaidi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Company (GASCO), Head of Adnoc Group delegation to Gastech 2012, along with scores of senior officials, corporate executives and energy experts from all over the world. Adnoc has made a distinguished presence this year, with a state-of-the-art stand and participation that reflects the huge strides made by Adnoc Group of Companies, especially in the gas sector and related operations. Specialized companies within the Group, like GASCO, ADGAS, Al Hosn Gas and Adnatco ‘&’ Ngsco are showcasing their latest projects to develop gas resources, and introducing their operational activities with the gas facilities as per the world’s best HSE standards and techniques. Borouge has also showcased a host of its Polyethylene products. “We are excited to attend this world-class event that showcases the latest developments and technologies in the gas industry and the energy sector in general. We have also a lot to share with our global partners and fellow professionals,” said Mohammed Abdulla Sahoo Al Suwaidi in a comment on Adnoc’s participation. “Adnoc has always been an active supporter of this global platform, and has hosted several editions of it over the years.
