
The Finance Ministry auctioned on Thursday treasury bills at a total value of EGP 8 billion.
In an online statement, the ministry said it sold EGP 3.5 billion of 182-day T-bills. The average yield was 11.401%, it said, adding it accepted bids at rates between 11.36% and 11.41%.
As for the 357-day T-bills, sold for EGP 4.5 billion, they achieved average revenue of 11.625%, the ministry said, adding it accepted bids at rates between 11.55% and 11.63%.
The Central Bank of Egypt auctions T-bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry.
