The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) plans to auction treasury bills and bonds at a total value of 1.1 billion dollars on Tuesday.
The CBE said it will sell one-year bonds (maturing in December 13, 2016).
The auction deadline is December 14 while the settlement date is December 15, the bank said.
Eligible subscribers are Egyptian banks and foreign financial institutions, it said.
Last month, CBE auctioned treasury bills and bonds at a total value of 700 million euros in order to meet government needs and pay its hard currency obligations.
