Bourse Istanbul (BIST 100) index has reached a record-high level on Thursday. BIST 100 index exceeded 87,000 points after the opening of the morning session on Thursday. The highest level in BIST 100 index was recorded as 87,237.13 points, and stocks gained more than one percent in value. Analysts said that the year-end target in the inflation report, which was announced on Tuesday, increased the optimism in the market, while Central Bank Governor Erdem Basci's statements envisaging low interest rates supported the rise in the bank stocks.
