
Head of the Egyptian Stock Exchange Mohamed Omran has said the Congolese side has asked for Egyptian expertise in money market and securities.
During a dialogue session on direct investments in Africa in Sharm el Sheikh, he said the Egyptian exchange realizes the importance of African dimension to boost cooperation with African countries, pointing out that the Egyptian side received an invitation to take part in establishing a bourse in Congo.
He stressed the importance of investments in Africa, pointing out that the foreign investments in the African continent reached 87 billion dollars.
Omran called on the media not to focus only on conflicts, wars, diseases and famine but also on financial sectors and investment opportunities.
