Dollar advances to lower ¥108 zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the lower 108 yen level early Wednesday in Tokyo, advancing from upper 107 yen zone in Tokyo in the previous day.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 108.11-12 yen compared with 108.11-21 yen in New York and 107.83-85 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The euro fetched 1.2737-2741 dollars and 137.71-73 yen against 1.2730-2740 dollars and 137.64-74 yen in New York and 1.2713-2715 dollars and 137.09-13 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon.
