
The U.S. dollar traded around the 124 yen line in early trading on Monday, slightly higher from its overnight levels in New York.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 124.04-05 yen compared with 123.84-94 yen in New York and 124.21-23 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.
The euro fetched 1.0968-0969 dollars and 136.03-06 yen against 1.0976-0986 dollars and 136.11-21 yen in New York and 1.0934-0935 dollars and 135.81-85 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon.
