Dollar remains in lower 78 yen range in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar remained within the lower 78 yen range on Tuesday morning in Tokyo. At noon, the dollar was quoted at 78.04-05 yen versus 78.00-10 yen in New York and 78.17-18 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday. The euro changed hands at 1.3758-3759 dollars and 107.37-44 yen against 1.3772-3782 dollars and 107.49-59 yen in New York and 1. 3725-3726 dollars and 107.29-33 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon.
